Following on from the success of the Naked Knitting 2010 Calendar, The knitting Noras have decided upon a linked project with the calendar.
There were extra calendar shots that never made it to the calendar and it has been decided that some of these photographs will be sold as 2 new sets of 5 picture postcards.

This project will benefit a different charity this time around.

The charity to benefit from the profits of the sales of the postcards will be:
‘After Adoption’ who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.

Since After Adoption was founded in Manchester in 1990 they have answered over 40,000 requests for help. They place children, who are currently in the care system, in stable families and they work with adopted children and adults, adoptive families and birth relatives. Their purpose is to improve the lives of the one in four people in the UK who have an adoption connection.

LCM Wealth Management Ltd. in Manchester provided sponsorship for the majority of the calendar production.

Manchester based printing company Evolution, who are printing the calendar, have paid the VAT as they have two employees currently fighting cancer.

Photolink studios in Manchester provided free studio use for the main photo shoot.
